SIGN in Afghanistan
Studies show that more civilians are injured than military personnel in a conflict. During our last visit to Afghanistan, surgeons from all over the country came to the Afghan-SIGN conference. Surgeons from 10 civilian hospitals have requested to be SIGN programs so that we can treat their patients. Patients are suffering from both war and traffic injuries. The most recent program started in Afghanistan is in Shebenghan and the next proposed program is in Jalabad.
With YOUR help, SIGN can start new programs to treat these patients!
